How to understand the expiration code on your products?Updated 22 days ago
At Cherry Republic, we use the Julian calendar system to mark the production dates on our products. This helps us ensure top-notch freshness and quality from our orchards to your doorstep.
Here’s how to read the code:
Look for a 6-digit number near the barcode on the packaging.
The first 2 digits represent the year (for example, 24 = 2024).
The last 3 digits indicate the day of the year out of 365 (or 366 for leap years).
For example: 24032 means the product was made on February 1, 2024 (the 32nd day of 2024).
The shelf life of our jarred products is typically 1-2 years when stored at room temperature and once opened, it should be refrigerated and used within 4 weeks for optimal quality.
